Cremeux des Citeaux is a French triple cream cheese with black truffles harvested in France. Like brie, Cremeux des Citeaux cheeses come with a soft wax rind. Triple-cream cheeses are incredibly rich and silky smooth, with mild cream flavors balanced by the earthy, rustic, freshness of the delicate black truffles. Find the truffle as a slash through the center of the cheese.
Made by Rodolphe le Meunier, a master affineur and fifth generation cheese-maker, Cremeux de Citeaux is produced and aged at a small creamery in the Burgundy region of France.
Serve this decadent truffled French triple cream cheese with cherries, olives, or small toasted baguette slices. Take a bite and enjoy it melt in your mouth, filling your palate with its rich flavors. Pair it with sparkling semi-sweet wines, dry champagnes, or red Burgundy wines.
