White pepper is native to India and is made from the interior of black peppercorns, the hard round berries that make up the fruit of the pepper plant. White peppercorns are produced by removing the black outer shell of the ripe peppercorns, revealing small ivory spheres that can be ground to taste. Our white peppercorns can be ground in any standard peppermill and produce a strong, well-rounded pepper flavor with earthy notes.
