The mucilage in slippery elm bark eases sore throats and coughs as well as reduces inflammation and irritation in the urinary tract. When applied as a topical application, it’s also known to relieve skin irritations and inflammations.
Tea or Infusion:Brew as a hot tea, or add to your baked goods, soups, smoothies, or really anything to take for an irritated digestive system. To apply externally: Mix slippery elm in some water to make a thick paste and apply it directly on the affected area
