This medium-bodied coffee is grown in the Amazon Rain Forest regions of Peru, one of the finest areas for Peruvian beans. Coffee drinkers will find this java to be mildly acidic and flavorful – with a hint of nuttiness. It is a shade-grown coffee, which means the beans come from coffee plants that are grown under a canopy of trees, a process believed to be more ecologically responsible than the method used to cultivate sun-grown coffee.
