These petite, organic Tunisian lemons are known for their intensity and concentrated citrus flavor. Preserved whole, a mild red pepper is added to the jar to create an additional layer of flavor. No other ingredient, apart from Harissa, exemplifies Tunisian cooking as well as preserved lemons.

Sliced thinly, they are a great accompaniment to grilled or baked fish, stews, or rice. Or use as a substitute for fresh lemons in a Mediterranean chicken and olive dish. Both the rind and the pith can be eaten.
