These organic fair-trade beans are purchased directly from the growers in the municipality of La Encarnación in the Ocotepeque Department in Honduras by a Honduran Family for a higher price than traditional coffee. This family brings small growers to the global market while also offering certifications that many growers cannot afford, including: 

Fair Trade, USDA Organic, Rainforest Alliance, Bird Friendly, Utz Certified 

Fair trade coffee is a type of coffee that is certified by a third-party organization to ensure that the farmers who grow it receive a fair price, work in safe conditions, and protect the environment. Fair trade coffee also benefits the consumers, who can enjoy high-quality beans and positive societal impact.
