A Star Wars Inspired Black Tea Blend

This passionfruit and mango black tea blend is inspired by Princess Leia and Star Wars, specifically Episode IV: A New Hope, where emotions ran high as you hear Princess Leia speak these words, “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.”

I remember when I saw Star Wars Episode IV for the very first time. I was 12 years old and my mind was blown. I recall sitting in that theatre absolutely mesmerized by the story, the blasters, the handsome Luke and moody Han, the diva-esque C-3PO and everyone’s favorite droid R2D2, and of course the big teddy bear himself, Chewbacca. I have to admit though, Princess Leia was my hero, my favorite character of all times. She was beautiful, intelligent, cool, strong, defiant, and turned little girls head around as to what a princess could be, and we idolized her for many, many years. Can we just take a moment to talk about those hair buns, they were the bomb! Leia knew when to ask for help, and she knew when to stand her ground and fight her way out. Up on that screen, in front of our young eyes, Leia She became a decisive, creative, inspirational warrior who could hold it together in the worst of times.

When I think about it though, maybe Obi-Wan wasn’t Leia’s only hope, could this tropical tea blend have provided the surge of hope they all needed? Leia could have finally let that do-nut hair down and enjoyed herself, because who wouldn’t need a cup of Leia’s Hope, and its tantalizing mango and papaya with a sprinkling of lemon sugar, after flying around space, making friends, and saving the galaxy.
