Description

Cardamom is the dried, un-ripened fruit of the perennial Elettaria cardamomum. It has smoky, slightly bitter flavor with anise and menthol notes typical of cardamom.  Commonly used in Saudi Arabian, North African, Asian and Indian cooking, baking and in spice blends such as Garam Masala, Curry Powder and Berbere.
