A Dr. Who Inspired Green Tea Blend

This Jasmine Green Tea blend is inspired by the iconic British television series ‘Dr. Who’. Bad Wolf refers to a message scattered about space and time by the 9th Doctor’s companion Rose Tyler. She left these words to herself so that she would remember to return to the Game Station to save the Doctor. The Bad Wolf episode aired in 2005 as part of the series 1 reboot of Dr. Who on BBC. A Happy Turtle Tea favorite actor, John Barrowman, starred as Captain Jack who found himself stuck in full-on game show weirdness.

If only they had been able to ask for a cup of this green tea blend with jasmine and the essence of blackberries. No game show would have stood a chance.

Now, this Jasmine Green Tea blend doesn’t actually contain blackberries, but it does contain blackberry leaves, which come from the blackberry plant. Blackberry leaves have a mild fruity flavor and are a good source of tannins, iron, vitamin C, antioxidants. And are a rich source of chlorogenic acid. Research has shown that blackberry leaves can provide relief for steam/hot water burns and eczema, used in a decoction for those with diarrhea, and made into a tea to soothe sore throats.

Bad Wolf also contains jasmine, which is full of antioxidants, has been said that it may aid in weight management, and improves your mood.
