Description
1996 vintage Dark 7581 Puerh brick tea – Typically, material that was used to produce Puerh “brick” teas are picked for its strong flavor profile and abundant amount of earthiness. This 1996 version is now displaying a unique sandal wood-like earthiness but with a viscosity that is unusual even for well-aged dark puerhs. The finish is long and insistent without a trace of harshness. Our cupping shows that it is important to use fresh and clean tasting water to bring out all of its nuances. Low quality water seems to affect this tea more than usual.
